Surfin': Still QSLing Those Radio Memories

This week’s Surfin’ considers the QSL card for one more time.

Did you know that Surfin’ is a weekly column published on ARRLWeb that features Web sites related to Amateur Radio, specifically, and radio, in general? If you have any suggestions for Surfin’, please contact WA1LOU using the e-mail link to the right.

  1. Hallicrafters S200 ? Was this just a incidental to see if any one is reading, or are you really looking for one ? I obtained a Heath GR54 from my club's auction of 'donated junk'. Received lots of snickers from others -- but when I plugged it in, it works. Turns out the GR54 has a decent IF bandpass filter (better than my ham rig that does AM). By the way, the building in Rolling Meadows IL on Hicks Rd remains in business, just under a different name and in a different electronics market.
