  1. I feel your pain. I was at the farm, running back and forth helping my Mom adjust to Assisted Living, and putting together and up (at 16') my 6M, 3 el beam all to make a few VHF contacts. With 33times your power and from a modest hill overlooking a lot of territory, I only did 8 times better than you. Oh well, at least I still have the beam up and have plans to raise it a little higher soon.

  2. Don't forget to scan the VHF bands during Field Day. The Rochester DX Association, W2RDX, Field Day effort will be operating 50 MHz up to 1296 MHZ as well as HF in Webster, NY FN13.
