My ex-wife is from Bristol. I used to always tell her mother, whom I still love as much as my own mom, that she passed a defective gene to all her children - it made them all Yankees fans......
I live in CT and am a Red Sox fan. There are lots of us. In fact, in my area of the state there are way more Sox fans than Yankees fans. And that's the way it should be. In the universe I was raised in, Connecticut is part of NEW ENGLAND. You can hardly tell anymore with the anti-snow attitude of so many residents.
