Time

I built the Elecraft KX3 transceiver kit and used it on the air successfully. Next, I have to partially disassemble the KX3 to install the 2-meter transverter. Also on my to-do list is to build the Elecraft PX3 panadapter kit, hang the MFJ-1777 all-band doublet antenna and build the Elecraft BL2 1:1/4:1 switchable balun to interface the doublet antenna to the KX3 .

Finding time to accomplish these tasks has been difficult.  In addition to the normal stuff that eats my free time, a death in the family a few weeks ago and the impending death of another family member has compounded the problem.

I did hear a good opening on 6 meters with the KX3, but did not make any contacts. Ten watts into a 40-meter dipole does not cut it on 50 MHz!
